Continued and forecast growth has created the need for an Assistant VAT Advisory Manager to support the European Tax Team based at their offices in Guildford. The role is advisory focused and will include assisting the Senior VAT Advisory Manager in providing support and training to the business. The role will also encompass assisting the wider European Tax Team on global projects when required.
Specific tasks for the role will include:
*Contract review and support for European Legal team
*Support Senior VAT Advisory Manager in identifying business processes requiring improvement.
*Assist in providing VAT training/education to business teams
*Review and document the VAT treatment of new business streams
To take on this challenge you will need to have gained experience in a large accountancy firm or in industry. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong technical skills, particularly in relation to international VAT matters. A commercial approach combined with good communication and written skills will also be key.
