This well-known and respected company is seeking an ambitious tax professional to join their in-house tax team. You will be part of a business in an exciting period of success and expansion both in the UK and overseas. In this role you will have excellent exposure to a range of tax issues across a variety of jurisdictions.
The Role
- Advise on the tax impact of specific business transactions including acquisitions/disposals, property acquisitions/disposals, and overseas expansion
- Compliance with the Group's UK corporation tax obligations including preparation and review of tax returns, and calculation of quarterly instalment payments
- Liaise regularly with HMRC on a range of issues.
- Actively manage the implementation of approved tax strategies.
- Support management of the Group's tax financial reporting obligations.
- Monitor tax risks in the overseas group.
Qualifications/Experience
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Knowledge of corporate tax including UK reporting requirements
- Exposure to international tax issues
- Excellent communication skills and a motivated self-starter
