Based in the central London office Head Office an extremely interesting Direct Tax Manager role has arisen to join this globally recognised Energy business.

The Role
Reporting to the Tax Director you will manage a small team ensuring the organisation complies with their tax obligations globally. Indeed, you will also be responsible for providing UK taxation advice and acting as the lead advisor to three of the group’s global businesses. More specifically daily tasks will include:
• Management of your team in ensuring all corporation tax compliance on global basis is timely and accurate
• Working closely with local external advisors and internal tax managers in monitoring overseas compliance
• Working with all the relevant businesses’ Front Office in ensuring that their tax risk and exposure is mitigated as much as possible especially in respect of new business development
• Acting as the lead UK tax advisor to the group
• Assisting the Tax Director in variety of ad hoc projects.
Your background
• Ideally you will be ACA, CIOT, CTA, ACCA or hold an equivalent qualification
• Strong working knowledge and practical experience of UK taxation
• Be able to operate at a high level in an extremely dynamic and fast paced environment
The package
Excellent remuneration (£80 -£95,000) plus good bonus potential and benefits.
