Our client is a top ranked software solutions provider in the finance sector, operating in North America and across the EMEA region. Based in the UK, the EMEA operation is now looking to make a Director level hire.
Based in the London region, and with close liaison with senior US and UK management, this role is responsible for the successful delivery of tax reporting solutions to multinational clients.
Key accountabilities:
• To be a senior level consultant to new and existing clients within the EMEA region looking to acquire bespoke tax accounting solutions; working closely with sales and pre-sales colleagues
• Lead role on client proposals, including discussions and negotiations on pricing structures
• Translate customer’s strategic goals and business needs into a solution proposal
• Provide general management and leadership to implementations specialist, directing the team on key client implementations projects
• Understand project status and facilitate achievement of project objectives and priorities
• Closely manage project budget and customer invoicing to insure alignment, and manage the project change control process as appropriate.
• To act as a senior level account manager on active client engagements
• Close liaison with partners and alliances within the tax technology market, and further development of these partnerships
• Lead role on the market positioning of the product
• To conduct customer satisfaction reviews and liaison to product development
• Attending key conferences (internal and external) throughout the year.
It is envisaged that suitable candidates will already be operating at an experienced level within the tax technology & systems/software market (equivalent to Senior Manager / Director grade of a Big 4 consulting firm), ideally based in the UK. Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of acting in a lead / project management role on large corporate tax software implementations, and will have integral knowledge of IT platforms and systems used in the sector. In addition, strong business development skills will be required, together with excellent client handling and relationship skills with senior executives (finance, IT, tax, procurement) within large corporate groups.
