A globally recognised, household name brand is now keen to secure a skilled tax professional to manage it's German tax position. This role provides the opportunity to join a well structured global tax function that holds high visibility across the business. It is envisaged that you will report into both the European Tax Director (London) as well as the German CFO.
As Tax Lead for Germany you will be in charge of the management of income and non-income tax matters for the specified jurisdiction(s), including:
- The preparation of local tax returns and the quarterly and annual tax provisions for inclusion in the US GAAP financial statements,
- Providing tax input to the Business to support new products, systems initiatives etc.
- Assessing tax risks,
- Identifying potential tax savings opportunities and executing agreed ones.
In return for the opportunity to join an organisation that places great emphasis on career development (both local and overseas) it is required that you are experienced in the German tax regime with a strong working knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
