The main purpose of this role is to ensure compliance with all VAT filing requirements, the avoidance of penalties, accurate reporting, and correct accounting of duty. In addition the jobholder will deal with all VAT reclaims in the EU and the completion of Intrastat returns.
The key objectives of the job are the on time submission of all tax requirements, the recovery of all amounts due to the company in the form of VAT and duty refunds and the correct accounting for Indirect Tax items. The successful candidate will be a key person in the tax team working closely with logistics and sales.
