An indirect tax manager is sought by this hugely successful international firm. You will be responsible for the group's UK and overseas indirect tax issues. As part of their finance team, you will have the possibility for excellent career progression and development.
The Role
* Take responsibility for ensuring all VAT and Intrastat reporting requirements are met in accordance with local country requirements.
* Initiate change by identifying and implementing improvement and development of VAT and Intrastat reporting.
* Develop strong relationships with relevant Government tax authorities from which the business operates.
* Proactively identify and implement opportunities for improving overall VAT liability and cash flow.
* Key expert and point of contact for all indirect tax issues that arise within the business.
* Take the lead in supporting VAT and Intrasat controls and inspections.
* Managing external advisers as required.
Qualifications/Experience required
* ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
* Excellent knowledge of indirect tax issues affecting a large corporate company
* Excellent communication skills
