Our Employer Consulting and Opportunities (ECO) team works closely with clients to build practical and creative approaches to devising remuneration and benefits strategies. As one of the largest specialist tax teams of its kind, our ECO group offers expertise in remuneration planning, employment tax consulting and share schemes. Typical clients include FTSE 250 companies and household names.
We are looking to expand the Reading Employment Tax Consulting practice by recruiting entrepreneurial individuals at the Manager grade.
As a Manager in this team, you will have overall responsibility for a portfolio of clients and will be able to develop and manage client relationships. You will ensure that your team maintains excellent service delivery and technical standards. You will also seek to develop new clients and offerings with support.
We would expect the successful individual to have the following skills and experience:
* Be ATT/CTA qualified, or equivalent qualification or experience;
* A strong understanding of employment tax legislation and the ability to use knowledge in order to provide creative and practical solutions to clients;
* Knowledge of share schemes and international social security would be advantageous;
* Ability to work with and / or manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industry sectors;
* Be committed to providing the highest quality of client service and have the ability to build strong relationships, exceed client expectations and identify and follow up new business opportunities;
* Proven track record of managing and motivating a team; or a strong team player with some delegation experience;
* Have sound project management and organisational skills;
* Understanding of quality control and risk management processes.
