Our Top 20 client, based in impressive offices in the City, are looking for a Senior Trust Tax Consultant with offshore Trusts experience to join their Private Client Tax team.
Providing a lifetime wealth management programme for individuals and families alike, our client is an industry leader in Trust Accounting and Advice, offering business, investment and pensions expertise to private clients in order to minimise inheritance tax exposure.
As Senior Trust Tax Consultant, you will be managing a portfolio of offshore and onshore trusts clients and providing a quality and professional service on all aspects of Trust tax. You will be preparing final accounts and carrying out general accountancy services, as well as preparing trust tax return, capital gains tax computations and other tax compliance and administrative work.
You will have extensive client liaison and be identifying client planning opportunities as and when they arise. This role will also have a large degree of autonomy in the management of your client portfolio and so you will be required to show commercialism awareness in your work and be able to deliver projects on time and within budget. As Senior Consultant, you will have some responsibility for reviewing junior team members work.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with offshore Trusts experience; ATT, CTA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous and desirable. You must have demonstrable offshore and/or onshore Trusts accounts experience and be able to prepare tax returns, as well as have a good eye for detail and be fully consultative in your dealings with clients.
