This law firm is widely acknowledged as one of the World's leading legal practices. A new opportunity has arisen for a Partnership Tax Manager to be responsible for reviewing the work produced by the team.
Role details:
* Advising on the UK tax implications of associates seconded to and from the UK, advice on residence status, tax equalisation and other associated international tax aspects.
* Preparing and reviewing UK tax returns for a portfolio of employees who go on secondment to international offices;
* Dealing with and assisting the team with complex queries from partners regarding their tax affairs on a daily basis, including Income Tax and CGT planning;
* Preparing and reviewing UK tax returns for the partners (self-employed individuals in the partnership) and advising on their tax issues.
* Working closely with the Partners' Tax Team and the HR team on the global mobility project;
* Answering correspondence from employees, HMRC and third parties;
* Providing feedback and support to other members of the team where necessary.
We would expect candidates to have at least six years post qualification experience in personal tax, but will consider candidates with less than three years providing they have the required competencies to carry out the role effectively.
