Job Description
* Conduct reviews of complex multi-state income tax returns
* Research and consult on complex federal and state tax matters
* Review FAS 109 calculations
* Manage significant tax projects (R&D Credits Studies, IRC Section 382 Studies, Earnings & Profit Studies, etc.)
* Oversee the efforts of multiple client services teams on client engagements
* Federal and State Tax Audit Representation
* Manage firm risk on tax services and proposals
* Responsible for seminar presentations, training, and reviewing presentations by staff and seniors.
Required Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* Masters or JD in Taxation
* CPAMasters in Taxation
* 6+ years of progressive federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
* Experience in multi-state Corporate, S-Corporation, Partnership and Individual returns
* Superior analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills
* Ability to manage and develop staff
* Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and Microsoft Office
