My client is a European Bank that is currently looking to hire a senior VAT specialist to be responsible for an indirect tax team of 4 and report directly to the UK Head of Tax
The successful applicant will take responsibility for the international indirect tax issues affecting the UK group in addition to heading up the indirect tax advisory work to the front office with a particular focus on the complex issues effecting leasing transactions. The role will also have a significant amount of dealings with HMRC and other authorities.
Ideally you will be the equivalent of a Senior Manager or Director in the Big 4 and have significant indirect tax experience gained within a financial services organisation dealing with the complexities of partial exemption.
