The Calgary Tax practice has opportunities for several dynamic individuals to join our Calgary team for the upcoming tax season. These positions will commence approximately February 16, 2010 and will conclude April 30, 2010.
The role of the Compiler includes many administrative duties including: the assembly of tax returns in paper format as well as electronic format; labeling of documents; scanning, photocopying and filing of tax and other confidential documents.
Successful candidates will be highly motivated individuals with the following attributes:
- minimum high school diploma
- strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
- professional manner and ability to work in a large corporate-firm environment
- previous office experience
- strong computer skills, including creation and modification of Adobe Acrobat documents
- ability to work quickly and accurately, following instructions from team leads
- should enjoy and be familiar with routine types of work
- flexibility for overtime work (evenings and weekends will be required) to meet deadlines
- initiative to identify and solve problems
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
