Multinational bank with huge European business presence is seeking to add a creative and driven Assistant Tax manager to push forward both the Global tax team and their own personal development. The role has is based in London reporting to the Global Head of Tax and will provide an opportunity to travel whilst being responsible for the management and implementation of key projects.
The role requires you to:
- implement and create ideas for high value projects (including M&A Tax work)
- work closely with the global tax team and guide regional managers in their implementation of projects.
- share best practice with the global tax team (project planning and implementation) comply with operational criteria
Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) or equivalent domestic or international qualification is a necessity. An exposure to financial modelling and experience in M&A and UK tax work within the financial services sector is highly advantageous. You must possess an ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively as well as demonstrate leadership skills. This needs to be combined with a strong knowledge of both FSA Banking regulations and IFRS accounting concepts.
