My client is a well-run, successful, independent firm of accountants operating in the Milton Keynes area. The tax partner is looking to recruit a "technical tax manager" to service the managers & partners within the firm with tax expertise.
Core duties as follows;
*technical research and advice for clients and for other members of the firm
*tax and business planning for individuals and owner-managed businesses
*developing and delivering planning strategy and tools
*reviewing corporation tax computations
*deputising for the tax partner and tax section manager
To be considered you will most likely be qualified and have considerable experience in a general practice covering compliance and planning work for both personal and corporate tax. The partner is flexible as to the type of person he appoints; you can be someone prepared to work at this level for the foreseeable future or, due to medium-term retirement, you could be ambitious and career minded with a desire to make partner.
