This Global Accountancy Practice based in Calgary, Canada has appointed Reach International to recruit a Tax Manager (Expatriate Tax). The firm provides audit, accounting, tax and transaction to an extensive range of local and international clients.
The Role
Based in their Human Capital department you will be responsible for managing a team and working with colleagues to provide high quality compliance and advisory solutions for expatriates. The firm's range of expatriate tax services includes:
*Expatriate federal and state tax returns
*Compensation and tax equalization calculations
*Payroll administration
*Group co-ordination Day to day responsibilities of the role include:
*Development of budgets
*Determination of resource requirements
*Management of compliance group including forecasting future work
*Formulate a plan to gather/communicate information
*Oversee issues management process
*Facilitate open communication
The Candidate
*Minimum of 5 years tax experience
*Significant personal tax experience (ideally Canadian or US Tax)
*Qualified accountant preferred (ACA, CPA etc)
*Any other relevant qualifications a bonus i.e. LL.M
