Job Description
As the Tax Partner of Financial Services, you will be responsible for providing tax, business and operating advice to hedge funds, investment advisers, investment partnerships, family offices, brokers/dealers, mutual funds and other financial services related organizations. Some of the advice will be about:
Structuring hedge fund and investment partnerships
Partnership agreements
Mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations
Consulting on inbound and outbound transactions
Performing top side tax and return compliance review
Required Skills
10-30 years of experience
CPA or JD
Prior CPA firm and consulting experience
Excellent managerial and practice development skills
Expertise with investment partnerships/hedge funds, structuring, and M&A planning and research
Ability to do top side compliance for partnerships, corps and HNW individuals
