The role at Tax Manager to Vice President level will involve working across all areas of the business encompassing product development, origination and execution, but focusing primarily on the execution of transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Taking responsibility for and leading the execution of transactions
* Managing the deal team and external advisors
* Being the main point of contact for the client
* Reviewing and negotiating legal documentation
* Preparing internal approvals papers detailing proposed transactions
* Liaising with the firm's internal functions to determine the applicable treatment of proposed transactions
Candidate Requirements:
* Excellent academic history consisting of high performance at both school and university
* US qualified Tax professional from either the big 4 or industry
* Strong problem solving, financial markets and modelling skills
* Demonstrable professional experience in a similar team at another investment bank with a proven track record of successfully executing transactions
* Inherently inquisitive nature
* Self driven and confident with strong relationship management skills
Excellent communication skills with a demonstrable ability to clearly articulate complex and inter-connected concepts
