UK top 10 accounting practice currently looking for a VAT Associate / Manager to join their growing team in London. With the recent changes in VAT legislation in the UK, the firm are looking to expand their impressive VAT practice.
The role will be predominantly advisory focused with an expectation to manage and control client work although there will be some review and preparation of VAT returns. You will undertake detailed planning and implementation of VAT project while ensuring that an efficient service is provided to the clients. Internally, you will be supporting the Partner and Associate Director with client work and identifying planning opportunities. Active involvement of client contacts will be encouraged.
You will preferably have previous experience of working as an associate or manager in a Top 50 firm as well as experiences of winning projects from clients. Ideally, you will also have natural business acumen and able to develop good working relationships both with clients and internally with the members of the team.
